CPRIT announces the release of four (4) Requests for Applications (RFAs) for FY 2023 Product Development Research grants. Complete RFAs and instructions are available in the “Apply for Funding” section of CPRIT’s website.

•    Texas Therapeutics Company Product Development Research Award (TTC)
•    Texas Diagnostics and Devices Company Product Development Research Award (TDDC)
•    Texas New Technologies Company Product Development Research Award (TNTC)
•    Seed Awards for Product Development Research (SEED)

CPRIT invests in startup and early-stage companies in Texas (and those willing to relocate to Texas) to foster development of novel cancer therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, tools and other non-traditional oncology products.  

CPRIT is using a preliminary application review process for the FY 2023 award cycle in which applications may be submitted at any time through CPRIT’s online grant application system. The CPRIT Application Receipt System is open now to receive preliminary applications.  Based upon a favorable review of the preliminary application, CPRIT may invite an applicant to submit a full application for consideration.  

Only those applicants that CPRIT invites to submit a full application will continue in the review process, which will include a live presentation of the full application to an expert review panel.
