Summary of Goals and Objectives |
The goal of my research program is to develop next generation pharmaceuticals targeting membrane protein signaling and transport involved in cancer. Membrane proteins are crucial for many phases of tumorigenesis and secondary pathologies, yet many membrane protein classes remain underutilized as drug targets. In my previous work, I have demonstrated substantial expertise in developing technologies for structure based drug discovery, and developed a platform for combining computational methods and cryogenic electron microscopy to tackle even the most traditionally intractable membrane protein drug targets. In this proposal, I will develop novel oncology drugs with precision effects on membra... |
