Summary of Goals and Objectives |
My broad research interests focus on improving our understanding of the molecular mechanisms that drive initiation, maintenance, and progression of lung adenocarcinoma and to use my novel findings to identify innovative, clinically-relevant therapeutic approaches. I will establish my future independent research lab with the development, characterization, and in-depth study of the biology/therapeutic vulnerabilities of 3 novel Braf mutant mouse models. My goal is to identify therapeutic options for cancer patients that harbor non-V600E BRAF mutations.
