During the 5-year course of the Early Clinical Investigator Award, I have several goals for both my career development and research. My career development goals are centered around educational courses that will help me to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming an independent clinical investigator focusing on research involving cardiotoxicity of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI). My career development educational objectives include obtaining a Master in Public Health (MPH), taking additional elective courses at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS), and completing MD Anderson courses for principal investigators.
