In addition to IDP-driven discovery, Mongoose Bio also leverages a memory reprogramming platform already clinically proven in several first-in-human studies of Endogenous T Cell therapy. Thus, HORMAD1 TCR T cells are uniquely selected TCR-T receptor targets for treating disease with this target, e.g. lung, gastric, and esophageal cancer. Protocol design/approval and implementation of a Phase IB clinical trial at the Investigation Cancer Therapeutics department (ICT) at MDACC, as well as subsequent licensing, are the subject of this CPRIT New Technology grant.
