This project addresses the need for cancer prevention, risk reduction, and early detection education and activities, particularly in under-served groups, especially those living in rural areas of Texas. Training and resources provided by regional program coordinators for this project will enable county Extension Agents (officed in 250 of Texas’ 254 counties) and their volunteers to strengthen their ability to reach these under-served Texans with cancer prevention and risk reduction and early detection information.
