The Texas Medical Association Special Funds Foundation (TMA) continues to provide staff and administrative support, performing coordination and oversight functions, and providing access to resources. A steering committee of physicians and other key experts in cancer and medical education centers statewide will continue to provide strategic guidance and medical oversight for the program. POEP staff and its steering committee annually update a five-year strategic plan.
