We present the annual report exclusively in an online format so that our stakeholders have a more immediate and interactive opportunity to learn about the many accomplishments and advances made by CPRIT’s grantees.

In the CPRIT 2022 Annual Report, we place a special focus on our three-part mission to invest in the state’s research prowess, create and expand the life science infrastructure across Texas, and expedite innovation in cancer research and prevention strategies.

Our new Mission Map is an engaging interactive tool to give readers an understanding of how our grantees are achieving CPRIT's mission in all parts of the state. The spotlights included in the Mission Map show recent or ongoing CPRIT-funded projects and represent just a fraction of the impact CPRIT has in the fight against cancer.

Since 2010, CPRIT has invested more than $3 billion in Texas’ universities, enterprises, and organizations. As of August 31, 2022, CPRIT’s prevention, academic research, and product development research grants have helped our grantees recruit 288 outstanding researchers to Texas, invest in more than 51 innovative biotech companies, and offer more than 8.2 million life-saving cancer prevention and early detection services across all 254 counties in Texas.
